Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. You can start reading straight away without signing up. Your progress is saved in the browser on the device you use.
Can I get my money back?
Yes. If you are not satisfied, email hello@wowitisken.me within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full, no questions asked — even if you have used the paid features. Details in the refund policy.
Does my progress sync between phone and computer?
Not yet. Progress is stored on each device separately. Syncing will come together with email sign-in.
Can I use the apps offline?
Not yet. Articles and audio are loaded from the internet, so you need a connection — also when the app is installed on your home screen.
Who makes this
wowitisken is an independent studio founded by Ken, a Taiwanese software engineer who learned German step by step, from A1 to B2, at the adult-education centre (vhs). The apps are built the way he wanted to learn: real texts at the right level, honest prices, and changes you can see.
